Geo-Defense is a game that certainly tests your tower defense skills. Having to strategically place blasters, laser cannons and other weapons to prevent hoards of creeps destroying your headquarters.
The menu is easy to navigate making all the options for this game readily available. The in game controls allow you to do anything you have to quickly and efficiently. After advancing to some higher levels, this reviewer was definitely thankful for this. You can buy, upgrade, or sell your weapons in an instant. This control system definitely fits in well with the very fast paced structure of the game.
One of the first thing you notice with this game is the quality of the visuals. The map bending effect and the fireworks display every time you kill a creep are awesome and combined with the sounds of the weapons blasting away really makes for some thrilling moments. It adds that little bit extra to the game play. With ten different maps on each difficulty setting and the ability to play your ipod during game play there are hours of fun to be had. The only downfall of this game is the lack any online leader boards or multiplayer options.
Geo-Defense is a well designed, unique Tower defense game. Having the creeps follow a set path forces the player to take a more strategic approach in order to get though each level. This game is great value for money and very addictive.
