iDodge: Space Ninja is an accelerometer based arcade game where players guide their delivery ship in order to successfully evade and dodge enemy turret fire, ensuring your survival and the safe delivery of your cargo. Players will need to control speed, harness their intuition and use of your space ninja skills to survive each level.

As mentioned, the game is controlled by tilting your iPhone to control the speed and direction of your space ship. Players are also free to use a number of collectable power-ups to make things easier, and can slide their finger along the screen at any time to use the slow-motion event. The controls are very simple and make this a fun play for any level player.

The visuals are a great throwback to the retro space shooters and the fun game music makes the game very enjoyable. Players are free to fly through around 45 levels and in case you get lonely in the cold depths of space, players can play locally with an additional three players for some frantic multiplayer action.

While story isn’t the game’s strongest suit, iDodge: Space Ninja does offer players some enjoyable arcade gameplay at a reasonable cost. The added local multiplayer mode is also a plus to the game’s value and although the game is simple enough to play, the game gets progressively more challenging. So if you’re a fan of simple space arcade games then iDodge is a great play and well worth the price.
