Puzzle Devil Touch by WOOZZANG is a deceptively simple puzzler that will have you scratching your head as you try to master shifting numbered blocks across the game's puzzle grid to fall in to each open square.
Each level consists of one or more numbered blocks that represent the number of moves left before it turns in to an immovable block. Slippery surfaces and direction-shifting arrows add an incredible amount of complexity to the game's puzzles, but if you're finding any puzzle to be too frustrating you can move on to the next one immediately. Puzzle Devil Touch makes full use of the iPhone's multi-touch capabilities and most menu options are available through double or triple finger swipes.
The graphics are clean and the game's static camera is positioned in an elevated view to give the map a pseudo-3D feel. For those that need to keep track of what tile they're currently on it's possible to fade the numbered tiles to view beneath them. There's only 55 puzzles to work through, but the steadily increasing difficulty level ensures that you'll get plenty of play time out of this puzzler.
Puzzle Devil Touch is an amazingly well considered puzzle game that uses simple ideas to incredible effect and feels like a stripped down version of maze-solving games like Adventures of Lolo on the NES. Easily recommended for anyone after a new challenging puzzle game for their iPhone.
