Kaboom's Paratrooper is a stunningly simple new title from Kaboom Apps where you'll have successfully land as many paratroopers as possible while avoiding hazards on the way down. It's a simple idea, but Kaboom's elegant style makes this an easy game to jump in to and enjoy.

After pushing your way through the initial tutorial levels, you'll gain full control over the fate of your paratroopers. Tapping planes as they zoom past will release one paratrooper per tap which will need to be subsequently tapped again to deploy their parachute. Extra points are awarded for low-altitude deployments, but for those after extreme scores it's much easier to deploy mass amounts of troopers while tilting to screen around to ensure they land perfectly on the drop zone.

Each of the 50 missions vary slightly in their goals, but ultimately it's all about fast, accurate landings. The visual style is quite clever, using paper cutout style sprites that stand out from the screen. Scores are automatically uploaded to a global board and players can compete for top slots on the 'all-time' and 'today' boards for a minor slice of glory.

Kaboom's Paratrooper is a great tilt-based title that keeps things simple while presenting challenges that keep you coming back for more. Definitely worth grabbing for casual gamers after something cute and easy to jump in to.
