Yogo The Turtle by digiTalented is a vertical climber with a bit of a twist and instead of an endless vertical corridor to conquer, you'll explore stage after stage of fixed challenges in an attempt to save your village.

In order to make your way up the series of stages, you'll need to fling Yogo between spinning orbs and trampolines, tilting your device to correct your trajectory and survive attacks from various creatures in your way. Flicking the screen will cause Yogo to jump from a stationary platform, however once you're stuck to an orb you only have to tap to send him on his way. The physics unfortunately tow the line a little too close to reality, opting to give Yogo momentum that's hard to overcome and it's all too easy to completely miss your mark as you under or over steer to correct his flight.

The game is kept fresh by the introduction of new challenges in each of the game's environments, however some of the game's challenges can get frustrating as one error can prevent you from completing the level, requiring you to manually reset once you've realized your mistake. The artwork borders from fun to childish, but some areas like the Space and Volcanic levels are impressive to look at.

There's not a lot of depth to Yogo The Turtle, but if you can get past some of its control issues you can find a fun title buried within. While this may not challenge older audiences, it's a perfect grab for the younger gamers out there.
