- Dark visual style.
- Washed out textures.
- Poor interaction between player controls and AI.
Vampires Until Dawn has set a lofty goal and falls short of the mark, resulting in a moderately playable twin-stick shooter that still needs more tweaking to become worth checking out.

Dusk Till Dawn is one of those films I love to throw up to watch not only because it's a fun film, but because it revels in its gritty, slap-dash style. Vampires Until Dawn by BeCrush pits you against vampire hordes south of the border as well, but unfortunately it's not quite as easy to love this game's gritty, slap-dash style.
In this twin-stick shooter you'll take control of a man out for revenge against the vampiric foes that would dare to take the woman he loves. It's a schlocky story, but lets be honest, we're here for the action. Unfortunately things get off to a rocky start and never quite manage to smooth out as controlling Garlik is a hit and miss affair. Despite moving quickly around the screen small hits will stop him dead in his tracks allowing other creatures to take pot shots and even when you have full mobility it's hard to get off a reliable amount of damage for fear of being stunned to death.
The visuals don't help things out much either, with odd design choices for the interface and extremely low quality 3D models and textures giving the game a washed out appearance. However the design work is interesting and with more polish it could really stand out.
The addition of special powers and a storyline also help to make this more than just another generic twin-stick title, but Vampires Until Dawn suffers in too many areas to be a game we can easily recommend.
