'Legends of Elendria: The Frozen Maiden' by Kyy Games is a title I can't believe we haven't reviewed already and I'm glad it was one of our recent requests. In this adventure title you'll put your tower defense skills to the test as you fight dozens of battles to defend your kingdom from a looming threat from beyond your borders.

As you progress through the game's storyline you'll quickly pick up new towers, each with their own unique upgrades to use in each of the games mini-battles against the incoming hordes. Instead of spending money on damage upgrades, towers will earn experience for kills, automatically upgrading over time and leaving your money spare for choosing the best towers and upgrades to keep your towns safe. Between battles you'll travel the land and have the opportunity to earn more experience and skill points to spend on improving your towers and unlock spells that can be cast independently from your towers.

While it's not the prettiest game around, its fantasy style is clear and easy to follow and each tower has a distinct look that makes it incredibly easy to assess your available resources. Also, despite having no specific benefits for perfect completions of levels, the tower AI can be extremely stupid at times and can easily ignore enemies further along the path, resulting in some needless damage occurring.

However it's the quick-fire TD matches and customizable gameplay that makes Legends of Elendria a seriously addictive game to play through, making this a great game for any TD fan to pick up.

Based on your review, I dloaded the free version.... and I hated it.
Deleted it off my phone, attempted to erase it from my mind.
I can't see any reason why to play this game???

While I generally agree with the review, I'm surprised you didn't mention the ridiculously inconsistent difficulty level.  As you play through the game, you'll breeze through some levels, and then get your butt handed to you repeatedly by others, only to run into an easy level right afterwards.  There's no warning or indication of which levels will be hard, and it's a purely linear game, so rather than having a cool progression of harder levels to match against your improved stats, you just end up rolling the dice each level and wondering if it's gonna be a cake walk or a paddling.  Still, recommended, and currently on sale for $0.99 (even though AppSpy's price tracker has been busted for weeks :( ).
