Balls Away! is a physics based puzzle game where players must move a number of balls around a small maze to reach a goal area. The aim of the game is to earn as many points as you can by moving all the balls into the goal area as fast as possible.

Players control their balls by tilting and rotating their iPhone around and using gravity. You must also hit switches and manoeuvre around spinners and other obstacles to reach your goal. The controls work well and make the game accessible to any aged player.

The visuals are simple and do their job. The sound is spacey and fast paced, but players do not have the option to use their iPod during gameplay. The game is single player only and features two modes; the main map mode and free play. There are no leaderboard options available and the local highscore board can only be viewed at the end of the game.

Balls Away! sets up for some decent puzzle gameplay, but falls short due to the large amount of flaws it has. The main game is quite difficult for one that should be accessible to younger players and the limited highscore options and lack of leaderboards leaves players with no incentive to keep playing. Unfortunately, besides these issues there is nothing new or standout to give this game any redeeming value. This is a game best left in the iTunes store.
