You've got your cars and they're meant for racing; and then you've got your zombies and they're meant for squishing; so it's only natural that in Zombie Racers by Big Head Games you'll spend your time squishing zombies as you race to the finish line.

And you'd think this would be a fairly cut and dry title - racers aren't exactly rocket science and with that added sprinkling of zombies you have something interesting to use to mix up the races. However all is not as it seems and while players have the options of various cars the game feels outdated and in fact it wouldn't be surprising if it's merely a graphical update of Big Head Game's previous old-school racer 'Revs!'. Acceleration is locked at a steady pace regardless of turning and letting go of a turn will place you in a dead-straight sprint.

Killing zombies nets you cash for upgrades, but you'll need a lot of them to stay ahead of the AI. Thankfully you're given six laps to earn as much cash as possible, however early on this can take forever and on later levels you'll be hard pressed to stay in first place. Alternate game modes pit you against the AI in a zombie squishing contest and added levels can be unlocked to compete in.

Zombie Racers just lacks anything exciting and even the ability to slaughter zombies wholesale in the alternative modes feels flat after you've exhausted the various power-ups. If you just can't get enough zombie titles, then maybe you can squeeze this one in, but you won't miss out on much if you don't.
