I wouldn't say that many of the stages in Bike Rivals ever left me thinking "well that was easy", but clearly some people must have found some of its levels a bit of a breeze. Why? Because Miniclip has just popped over the trailer for the Bike Rivals Halloween update, and they've assured me that it contains some of the very hardest courses they've yet devised. The update, which includes a new bike available for purchase, as well as a bloody great spider to contend with, also sees the addition of Infernando - a new rider you can unlock by getting perfect runs on the spooky fresh stages. Today I've been playing Bike Rivals from Miniclip, which is currently in soft launch in a few territories. It's a fast-paced trials-esque game, presented in a simple but effective 2D style, and sporting rock-solid controls that are a mix of tilt and touch. There's been a fair number of these trials games recently, but Bike Rivals distinguishes itself from the pack by being more arcade-oriented than Urban Trial Freestyle and Trials Frontier.
