Eatplus is developed by Bisivle. The idea behind this project is to start with a bars chart where the user can quickly see how carbs, proteins and fat are combined in your food.

By quickly being able to understand this relationship you can decide whether to use that food or not according to your diet's needs. If you are aiming for a 10 miles run you might need more carbs, so by clicking "Carbs" on the selector at the top of your screen, all food is listed based on carbs predominance.

After you come back you can choose "Proteins" to have all food with proteins predominance listed.

If you need fat, just use the fat option and find out which food suits you the best after you compare the values with the bars chart.

The database is built, maintained and curated by Bisivle to be as accurate as possible. Note that some values might differ from other sources as there might be some differences. If you feel some values are not correct, please send us an email to: [email protected] so that we can check it and correct it if necessary. There are plenty of sources to choose from so we must carefully review all available information to consult with our expert advisors and make the curated input.

This first version is the foundation of a future app being developed. That app will include a meal tracker with several graphs to let you track your meals with information about the macros you eat during the day. That way if you want to avoid carbs, or reinforce proteins and fat, you are able to do it immediately, without taking notes and making calculations every time you pick a food.

Regarding your privacy we take it very seriously, so make sure your data is yours and is not shared by us. At this moment the app only registers your email address, your password and username. All of that is only accessible by you through your app, so that nobody else is granted access. If you want us to remove your data from our servers please send us an email to: [email protected]. Please be aware that the app does not work with anonymous users to prevent access to the database from unknown users, so if we remove your account it will not work, but the option is always yours because you have control of your personal data with us.
