This metric tells you how much demand there is for products in this niche. Demand refers to the number of people who wish to purchase products in the niche. Generally, more niche products will have less demand, but will also have less supply, meaning that you should not rule out, nor select a niche based purely on demand. The more demand, the higher the Demand Score.
This metric tells you how many other businesses are selling products within this niche. Very niche products will generally have less supply, but will also have less demand. Therefore, you should not rule out, nor select a niche based purely on supply. The less supply there is for a product, the higher the Supply Score.
This metric is calculated based on two sub-metrics. Firstly, the probability of a visitor purchasing a product from your dropshipping store based on the average price of products within this niche. Ideally, products that you sell will be within what is commonly termed the ‘Impulsive Buying Range’, of between $10-$40. Secondly, the ability for you to make a profit from selling products within this niche. The higher the potential is to make a profit, the higher the Affordability Score.
This metric is a summation of the Demand, Supply and Affordability Score. This is the primary metric that should be used to evaluate a niche.
