Be Informed is a mobile application that keeps you in the know. Stay safe in South Australia. We tap into the latest incidents, warnings and fire ban information feed from the CFS, and fuel data from data provided by the State of South Australia*.

We will show you the status and location of important events such as:

* Vehicle accidents
* Gas leaks
* Fallen trees
* Floods
* Storms
* Bushfire “Safer Places” and “Last Resort Refuge” information

In addition to the incidents and warnings feed, Be Informed displays the CFS’s Fire Ban information for the State

What's New in Version 3.2.0

We fixed some issues preventing fire ban information from loading.
This version also adds a long-requested feature from our users, allowing you to more quickly find out what's happening and where to keep you informed.
- When you open the app from a notification, the map will move to the location of the incident.
- If a new incident in one of your watch zones happens while the app is open, you will see a banner about it allowing you to quickly find it.
- Fixed an issue that was causing last refuge markers from showing
- Updated the overall look and feel of the app a bit.
