This is an app that greatly helps in most editing workflows. It is based on award winning Woowave Sync Engine which analyzes the sound of your clips and matches them perfectly. This version is extremely simple to use, so it can be used by professional and amateur editors as well.
Simply select video file and separately recorded audio track(HQ). Click synchronize and the app automatically creates a new identical clip with HQ Audio.
If you often record your sound separately, which is probably the right way to do it anyway, you will be using this app day after day.
Audio synchronization is a complex process and our algorithm was developed from scratch since 2011.

It has not worked for me yet

I was looking for an app that could help me with a problem i had tying to synch 1080p video and H4n stereo audio that i could not manually synch. I emailed the developer to inquire about whether it could stretch or compress audio to correct for slightly mismatched timing. After reading the claim “In under one minute it was able to synch up the entire 9 hour shoot!” I installed it and selected my 2.5 hour source video and audio, and it has said “processing" for more than an hour. I will leave it running for 3 hours to see if it is actually reprrocessing the audio, or if it just froze. If it does anything helpful, I will come back and edit my review.

Doesn’t Work

Garbage. Selected both audio and video files and entered them, but clicking on “begin sync” did nothing. Why do they waste people’s time? It certainly isn’t an incentive for me to buy their more advanced software.

Rarely works

Really nice to have, but only works 1/10 times. Very frustrating

The developer, WOOWAVE, has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple.
