Description
Powered by the Giphy API, Hard G lets you quickly find and use GIFs in a variety of apps on your Mac. Here's how it works:
1. Use the Search field to find any GIF you like. Whether you're looking to share a reaction, a favorite moment in a show, or just a laugh, Giphy has what you're looking for. Use QuickLook to preview the GIF at full size.
2. Sharing your GIF is as easy as drag and drop! Just drag your GIF onto Messages, an email or a tweet to add the perfect personalization to your message. You can also copy the URL or the whole image to paste into another application.
3. If you want to use a GIF again, keep it in your Favorites! GIFs that you save will be ready for you when you are.

Fast access to gifs for all of your needs
PROS:
- You barely see the ‘searching’ dialog because the searching happens that quickly.
- Different rating levels, depending on how naughty you want your GIFs to be (this is *very* useful around the office!).
- See a GIF you like that you’d like to hang on to? Mark it as a favorite, or drag and drop it into a Finder folder for future use.
- Finally, someone taking a stand on how the word GIF is supposed to be pronounced ;-)
- Support email is super fast!
CONS:
- I guess if you pronounced it ‘JIF’ you might be confused.
Not worth the money. Ads after payment.
Hard G is a really cool little application that brings a small, novel, value proposition with it. I gladdly shelled out money for it.
After paying the developer, I noticed I am getting ads in the app now. In some cases, they get in the way of actually working with the giphy selection interface.
Not sure if it was a greed move or what, but I am far outside of the refund window and will just delete this thing. RIP HardG.
