Jewels of Rome: Match-3 Puzzle 4+

I like that it's a match 3 game. It's really pretty to look at. I'm kind of getting into the characters, which is a surprise to me. Like another player, I'd appreciat a flat purchase price as opposed to $1.99 here, and $1.99 there.

I really like the game. It allows me to play without spending money. The only reason I give it a 2 is because no matter how many battles you win, it doesn't matter which box you pick you never get the best prize in any of the Jewel games. Which is why I wonder why they ever bother showing me what is in the other boxes. I would never waste diamonds to access a box that would show up with nothing good then have it show me there were 7 hammers in the box I didn't choose. Rome seems like an afterthought to the G5 community. They try everything in Rome then then if we like it they add it to Wild West and then to Egypt. Now that I have caught up with the game I only get a new building once a month along with a new event. I put together a terrific Union group but G5 took away our Challenges . Wild West got the Challenges once a week but now they just started in Egypt so now that I have caught up with Wild West stories I imagine my great Union will get screwed again just like my Rome team got . Now that the unions are started in Egypt it is just a matter of time before they take the challenges away from Wild West. I am not going to play Egypt or be in a union there . I do not like the stoies in Egypt. hopefull G5 will recognise that rather than adding another new pick 3 game that they just continue the stories for Wild West and Rome instead

The devs obviously put a ton of work into this game. The gameplay is well thought out. The visuals are beautiful, and you can play for hours without spending a dime. They've really done a great job of mixing up the "currency" you need to play the different puzzles, without immediately begging you for money. There are ads, of course, but that's expected for a free game. I would like the option of just buying the game, to eliminate the in-game ads/micro-transactions that are there though. Overall, excellent job G5.
