You can't play World of Warcraft: Legion on your phone. And that's sad, because as we all know playing games on your phone is definitely the best way to play games. That's why I'm here, that's why you're here, because we're the smartest gamers in the whole of the world.

And if you fancy something a bit like WoW but pocket sized, we've got your back. Check out these iOS games that could just tickle your WoW bits while you're away from your PC or Mac.

Order & Chaos 2

Yes, Gameloft basically makes iterations on famous games. But the fact of the matter is that it's pretty darn good at it. Or at least it used to be.

Order & Chaos 2 is, to all intents and purposes, an alternate dimension version of WoW where everything is just different enough that it's not exactly the same.

There are quests, there's dancing, there are plenty of animals to skin and gore, and loads of raids and stuff to get involved with too. Poifect.

Arcane Legends

A more cut up version of an MMO. Whereas Order & Chaos is grandiose and shiny, Arcane Legends takes a more cartoony, less shouty approach.

It's old as well, so you're not going to need the newest hardware just to get past the loading screen. And it's still entertaining even after a few years on the market.

If you're looking for an MMO with a bit more mobile nous then this is the one to go for.

This one is going to poke the RPG bit of the MMORPG puddle in your heart. It's a big, sometimes quite lonely adventure through a fantasy world.

It's not without its issues, but when it does work there's quite a lot of fizz and crackle to it. Still quite a bit of wandering around though.

There's a bit of clunk here, and a bit of stumble, but it's definitely not the worst massive RPG on the App Store. So there's that.

There's a range of games that flout the MMO tag on the App Store. They're not quite what you'd expect from a game wearing the moniker, but they're still fun.

This one's essentially a side-scrolling brawler where you don't have to do anything if you don't want to. Think a light show where you can occasionally push buttons to make more lights happen.

But the lights look nice, and it's better shaped for mobile play than most of the other games on here. Grab it and give it a go, you never know you might like it.
