What is the Apple Watch? This five minute video explains all

By , on September 12, 2014

Time is precious: there's a finite amount of it that we all have before the party's over, and using it wisely is the most important thing you can do.

That's why people need watches, and why Apple thinks you need an Apple Watch.

But since time is so precious, you probably didn't watch the entire Apple keynote the other day, as it was 90 minutes of tech chat and marketing buzzwords.

What you need is a 5 minute video containing all the info you need.

And you need it now.

And here it is.

I don't care what anyone says I want one and I will have one when they are out. I am all about the gadgets and have been waiting to see this for years. I would have had a galaxy gear by now if it worked with my iPhone! I have a Pebble smart watch now and love it - but I wish it had Siri functionality, the apple watch does and I think that takes it a step up, makes it really usable, rather than just giving you information - which the pebble does very well. Looks wise I'm not blown away with futuristic-ness awe, they have made it look like a watch, and it looks like a nice watch but thats it. Still, cant wait to see one in a shop!

I'm unnecessarily bothered by the Digital Crown. It's a wheel. Call it a wheel. Holy butts just call it a wheel IT'S A WHEEL

I am afraid you are exercising some anti-Apple bias out of your ignorance here. That part of the watch has always been and will probably always be called the "crown." http://www.esslinger.com/watchcrowns.aspx

Ooh I actually never knew that part was actually called a crown. Thanks for the link :D.
