Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to expand esports into Europe and the Americas in 2026

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang revealed a massive esports plan for 2026 during the M7 World Championship Grand Finals. The road map includes a massive expansion, bringing new regions into the ecosystem for the first time. 

The 2026 MLBB esports scene will now include five regions. This coincides with MOONTON's goal of reaching 70 regions and hosting 5,000 events in 2026. The regions officially in the MLBB esports ecosystem include: 

• Southeast Asia
• Eastern Europe and Central Asia
• Europe, Middle East and Africa
• East Asia
• Americas

“At the heart of the plan is the Championship Tour, an intercontinental tournament piloting across AMER, EA and SEA to elevate regional competition and spotlight emerging talent," read the press release. "The shift to a region-focused model reflects MLBB Esports’ ambition to balance local development with global integration, where each region upholds the strength of the global ecosystem.”

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's 2026 esports tournaments

In an official press release, MOONTON highlighted the biggest tournaments coming in 2026. This includes the Esports Nations Cup, following MLBB's success at the Esports World Cup, where it made up almost one-third of the event's viewership. The Mid-Season Cup and Women's Invitational will return to the 2026 Esports World Cup as well. 

MLBB will a medal event at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026. This will be the first time the mobile MOBA is a medal event at this respected event. 

Finally, the MLBB season will culminate at the M8 World Championship Finals, held in Turkey. This is the first time that Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will have a big event outside of Southeast Asia.
