This peak viewership occured during the match between Team Falcons and ONIC ID, according to Esports Charts. This has become the most-viewed Swiss Stage yet, beating the 2.5 million or so viewers that tuned in to M6's Swiss Stage. According to a press release from MOONTON, this is also double the Group Stage viewership of the M5, which reached 1.4 million and the M4 at 1.6 million. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports has clearly continued to grow in popularity. "MLBB Esports continues to grow at an unprecedented pace, with viewership reaching new heights across the world," said Tiger Xu, Global Head of MLBB Esports at MOONTON Games. "The M7 viewership numbers reflect the strength and maturity of our ecosystem — from partners, talent development, and fan engagement." CEO of Esports Charts, Artyom Odintsov, added that the M7 Swiss Stage has set a "new benchmark for the popularity of mobile esports" when it comes to livestreamed tournaments. He pointed to TikTok as a key viewership driver, a non-traditional esports platform that has become massive for ML:BB, even beating YouTube's viewership. "With the tournament's final stage still ahead, the M7 has strong potential to update a new all-time viewership record for TikTok in esports," said Odintsov.
