A new BTS game from the makers of BTS World is in the works

Following the massive success of BTS World, Netmarble and Big Hit Entertainment have announced today that they’ll be teaming up to bring to life another BTS game. For now, all we really have to go on is a concept trailer, though what a concept trailer it is.

I have to admit that I’m not terribly knowledgeable on BTS or the ‘Bangtan Universe’. However, I do know not to get on the wrong side of its frighteningly devoted fanbase. I’m sure they’re passionate for a reason; the band is cool and all.

BTS World, if you missed it, is of course a visual novel that follows the BTS boys through their journey to stardom, often going off on intriguing, alternate reality tangents along the way. It’s good, wholesome fun for fans of the band or even those looking for a free visual novel to while away the time.

I suppose it’s hardly a surprise to see another BTS game announced so soon after the colossal success of BTS World. What is surprising, though, is just how different, weird, and wild this new game looks when compared to its predecessor.

Honestly, I’m intrigued. And any trailer that causes my jaw to drop in bewilderment gets a full, immediate thumbs up from me. If you’re yet to give it shot, what’ve you got to lose by downloading BTS World from the App Store or Google Play?
