Google Play Pass, the tech giant's crack at an Apple Arcade-style subscription service, is set to launch this week in the US with 350+ games and apps. Just like Apple Arcade, it’ll be priced at $4.99 a month, but early adopters can get a year’s worth of the service for $1.99 a month.

Disappointingly, it's looking like Google has no real exclusives to kickstart the service, unlike Apple Arcade which released last week with one of the best launch line-ups in video game history. Some of the highlights include Stardew Valley, Terraria, Limbo, KOTOR, Old Man’s Journey, and Bridge Constructor Portal.

As you’d expect, the games and apps featured on Play Pass won’t include ads or IAPs. There’s also a family sharing plan which allows you to share your Pass across up to 6 devices. You’ll need to be running Android version 4.4, Play Store version 16.6.25, and a US account if you want to start playing this week.

Those on the hunt for a decent deal would be wise to take advantage of the Play Pass’ introductory offer of 12 months for $1.99 a month. You’ll need to have signed up for the 10-day trial before October 10th to be able to get the service at the discounted price.
