Gameloft's Overdrive City is perhaps best described as a city builder mixed with a racing game. It's clearly aiming to be a car enthusiast's dream come true, offering a way to build, customise, and race your very own collection of high-end vehicles. You'll start with the basics before developing your city into a full-on car empire, taking you from the factory floor to the track.

Most of your time will be spent fulfilling service orders, exporting shipments, and then racing your impressive collection. This isn't your typical city builder, with most of the upgrades you can craft being, for example, automotive showrooms, manufacturing plants, and roadways.

At launch, there are currently over 50 cars from iconic brands to add to your collection. These include the Nissan GT-R Nismo, 1967 Ford Shelby GT500, Porsche 911 GTS, and many more. Each can be customised with paint jobs and the game's 50-layer livery system.

The career mode is where you'll do most of your racing, with it offering 6 distinct chapters spanning a variety of iconic locales. All told, there are over 1,000 different races to compete in, giving you plenty of opportunity to hone your skills and become a champion on the track.

All players who download the game during launch will receive a limited-time Founders Pack to get you off to a good start. If you fancy giving Overdrive City a go, you'll find it available for download now from both the App Store and Google Play.
