Free-to-play racer KartRider Rush+ has had a new update that brings new content and time-limited events.

Mobile developer Nexon announced it had entered a partnership with South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai, and the collaboration would add a new kart to KartRider Rush’s roster modelled after its new sport sedan, the 2021 SONATA N Line.

Unlike other mobile racers of our time such as Mario Kart Tour and Angry Birds Go, the karts in KartRider Rush+ take on a less stylistic approach, opting for designs that closer mimic real-life cars. Therefore, this partnership makes a lot of sense for the philosophy behind the game. It also marks the first in-game collaboration for the game, allowing for players to closer feel that connection to reality through the SONATA N Line, which also features its own kart plate and balloon displaying the logo.

"Partnering with Hyundai adds immense value to KartRider Rush+, giving players the chance to engage with and race in a kart that is modeled after such a well-known and high-performance vehicle," said Kenny Chang from Nexon. "Hyundai is among the most creative and forward thinking manufacturers in the automobile industry and we are thrilled to be able to bring the SONATA N Line to life in our mobile experience.”

To accompany this new update, Nexon is holding special in-game events for a limited time. Until 18th October, you can participate in unique item quests to collect SONATA N Line Shards, which can then be exchanged for exclusive rewards such as N Line Balloons, N Line Plates, a 30-day SONATA N Line kart or a permanent SONATA N Line kart.

To start collecting SONATA N Line Shards, all you need to do is log in each day and race through the daily multiplayer and ranked races.

You can download KartRider Rush+ from the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android.
