Wonder Games has opened pre-registration for the open beta of its World War II real time strategy game, Warpath.

It’s set in an alternate history where you’re in command of units fighting to free the world from the tyranny of the evil Raven faction. Featuring a vast selection of historically accurate air and land units, you team up with players from across the globe as you take the fight to the enemy in dangerous battles played out across a huge and dynamically changing worldwide map.

In Warpath, the key to being victorious is to build up a powerful base and choose which weapons and vehicles to develop to turn the tide of war against Raven’s forces. To suit every type of playstyle, there are over 100 historically authentic units to use which can all be upgraded to increase their power.

Although it’s an alternative history, many of the battles featured in Warpath are still based on real historical events. For example, the campaign map includes realistic geography that enables you to take part in recreations of iconic battles such as the Battle of Moscow.

As well as infantry and armour, you can also recruit powerful officers to your cause and let them help you turn the tide of battle. These expert leaders bring special abilities and huge tactical advantages into Warpath’s real-time battles.

Considering its huge map to fight on, wide range of controls, and smart AI that allows players to enjoy the game without micro managing every little thing on the battlefield, Warpath is certainly one for the strategy gaming fans out there. Those who pre-register will receive the mighty ‘Tiger P’ tank as a reward when the Warpath beta marches into battle on 10th November.

Pre-register for Warpath in time for the open beta on 10th November on the iOS App Store or Google Play for Android.
