There has been a new update for Crossfire: Warzone on iOS and Android, and it’s a pretty big one that adds the new Capital Takeover War game mode.

Capital Takeover War is an event that occurs in the middle of the field map on each server, as long as it’s at least 90 days or older. Joycity has added this to hopefully increase PvP participation, with the new event taking place fortnightly and sees allies fighting for dominance on their server.

The winning team’s leader will then gain a special title that remains for two weeks, and they’re also able to assign this title to six other members of their alliance. It won’t just be a fancy title to display alongside their username in battle though, as it will also give the holder a few special buffs.

Whichever alliance emerges victorious will collect taxes from the other teams on the server, with the amount determined by the resources available at their base. Once the two-week period is up, a new Capital Takeover War commences and the cycle repeats again.

That’s not all that’s new to Crossfire: Warzone though, as the game has also brought some improvements to the Secret Laboratory content. Now, you’re able to select various difficulty settings to play on while units on each floor have been given new characteristics to have.

The in-game diplomacy system has also seen some new changes, as players will now be rewarded for eliminating terrorists and collecting the resources within the alliance force system and alliance force territory. This will result in additional bonuses.

To check out these changes and start earning extra bonuses from the new combat situations, you can download Crossfire: Warzone from the iOS App Store or Google Play for Android. It’s a free to play title containing in-app purchases.
