PUBG Mobile has a brand new Royale Pass system, which was unveiled recently. Now, since it has gone live in the game, players have a better idea of what to expect. It has been rebranded to Royale Pass Month and, as you have already guessed, will see new content and tiers added each month.

However, we can still expect different themes to continue over a longer period, which will be referred to as Cycles in-game. Beyond that, though, players will find a new batch of in-game challenges and rewards each month. The first, Royale Pass Month 1: Tek Era, is available now for 360UC. You can check out the accompanying trailer below.

The new setup will provide players with additional rewards and benefits. Firstly, they will receive a welcome gift the first time they purchase an RPM in addition to the rewards available for hitting certain ranks. On top of that, bonus RPM points are given out at the end of each month.

Elsewhere, if players hit rank 30, they will receive a free 60UC voucher to spend on the following season. Meanwhile, if they climb all the way to rank 50 – which is the new maximum rank – they will net themselves a free Mythic Set and Legendary weapon.

The new RPM approach also introduces a new Challenge Point System, which rewards positive behaviours, such as not quitting games and avoiding friendly fire. Players can earn bonus Challenge Points for the first match of the day though it's important to note, it is possible to lose them by suffering defeat.

PUBG Mobile is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
