The Football Manager franchise has always been the centre of attraction for football fans out there. The latest entry always garners a lot of interest, not just around launch but when it's first announced - because in recent years there's normally a promise of early access. Sports Interactive and SEGA have now announced when the next entry, Football Manager 2022, will launch: November 9, 2021.
FM22 Gameplay Gameplay Expectation
Similar to the franchise's previous titles, FM22 will test your critical thinking for handling the real-life aspects of football. You play as the team manager and use your wits to make on-the-spot decisions to benefit your team by finessing tactics and tweaking fine details.
Although Sports Interactive and SEGA also do a good job of containing leaks about new features, we can expect several new features to be added to the FM22 to make it more realistic and immersive. What we have heard infers the introduction of women's football. But this could be planning for further down the line.
The latest version, Football Manager 2021, is loved and adored by the players and managed to get a high rating on Metacritic, with a score of 85 with a 6.3 User Score. The main reason behind its success was the flexibility and freedom of player selection offered. It has 50 nations and 2500 clubs to explore, which we can also expect to be included - or built on - in FM22.
The pre-registrations of FM22 for Android devices on the Google Play Store, and for iOS devices on the App Store, will start from early October 2021. By pre-ordering FM22 on iOS devices, you will own the game as soon as it releases. For Android users, FM22 pre-registrations mean you will get a notification as the game is made available for download. It will release for both Android and iOS devices on November 9, 2021.
