It is an unarguable fact that music and gaming go hand in hand, so the news that K-Pop band BLACKPINK did a concert in PUBG Mobile in July wasn't a big surprise. Now, after teasing the release during the concert, BLACKPINK has released Ready for Love, a track and music video developed alongside PUBG Mobile.

PUBG Mobiles' inaugural in-game concert was called The Virtual, and took place on the 23rd and 24th July worldwide. With BLACKPINK having already hosted virtual concerts to high acclaim it was a foregone conclusion that a popular game and a popular band would result in a very successful concert.

For the players that missed the first concert and want to catch it, hope is not lost. BLACKPINK will be redoing The Virtual this weekend; on July 29th and July 30th for those in North and South America, and then July 30th to July 31st for the rest of the world. There will also be the chance to watch the music video for BLACKPINK's new single Ready for Love in-game by visiting the esport centre, or for those who want to enjoy it without the risk of being shot repeatedly can catch it on PUBG Mobile and BLACKPINKs Youtube Channels, or just below.

The concert itself comes with a few neat little features to enjoy. When enjoying the music, players will be able to float weightlessly in ethereal bubbles and play minigames, all whilst resisting the urge to go full Attack on Titan with the giant avatars of the band's stars. To celebrate the collaboration, there is the opportunity to earn special outfits based on the clothes worn by the stars during each of the songs on the setlist. These include the How You Like That, the Ready For Love, and the DDU-DU DDU-DU set.

Sets can be earned by completing daily in-game missions, and BLINKs will also have the opportunity to access the new BLACKPINK Voice Packs, featuring never-before-heard voice commands from all four stars, something that's bound to confuse enemies as the voices of well-known K-Pop artists scream warcries at them in perfect pitch.

PUBG Mobile is available to download now on the App Store and Google Play.
