Niantic reveal upcoming events and surprises for Pokemon Go

Niantic has announced some upcoming important dates for its augmented reality mobile game, Pokemon Go. With the current Season of Go coming to an end over the next week or so, trainers the world over, especially in Asia, can eagerly await the next Community Days, and the return of a special event.

September is looking to be an incredibly busy month for Pokemon Go to the delight of fans. As well as a Community Day taking place on September 18th, there are also two as yet unrevealed events taking place on the 3rd and 11th. October will have one Community Day on the 15th, whereas November will have one new Day on the 12th, and will host the return of Community Day Classic on November 5th, where the developers bring back a Day from the past.

As exciting as two secret events look to be for worldwide players is, it is South Korea that will be getting the most exciting news. On September 23rd Goyang will be hosting South Korea's first Safari Zone event. Tickets for the event are available now and worth getting for any big fans of the available Pokemon. Based on Goyang’s rich history of flowers and romance, players will be able to encounter a Blue Flower Flabebe, a shiny Unown Y, a Shiny Spirtzee and of course a special Safari Zone hat Pikachu.

In addition to the unique pokemon, attendees will also be able to enjoy some special features when they are within the event space on the day and time of the ticket. Three extra-special trades will be available per day, trades will require 50% less Stardust, event-exclusive Special Research and Field Research will be available, and Incense and Lore Modules will have their duration increased.
