NetEase Games is helping gamers everywhere ring in September with the global launch of its new survival shooter Lost Light. Releasing on iOS, Android and PC, the game aims to set itself apart from other battle royale shooters with a fairly detailed and in-depth gun customisation system to allow everyone to create their own personal play style.

Since the first Closed Beta Test took place in 2021, Lost Light has picked up a lot of steam, attracting more than 4 million players and entering the rankings for Top 30 New Games on Google Play multiple times. The game supports cross-play and cross-platform support between mobile and PC, with any device that sports at least 2 GB RAM being able to run the game successfully.

Set in the 2040s, the world is in a post-apocalyptic state thanks to a mysterious pheromone outbreak that has unleashed chaos onto the land and torn it all apart. In order to continue any semblance of civilization, people moved into underground shelters and founded the Firefly Project to survive. As a member of the Firefly Force, players are thrown into the deadly exclusion zone as they struggle to live in the new world order.

Lost Light is a cutthroat game, with the only objective in the game being to do anything to evacuate the exclusion zone. After hunting high and low for any resources, food and supplies, players will need to do whatever it takes to exfiltrate the area in high-risk-high reward gameplay. To assist with this the game has an incredibly intricate gun customisation system that offers thousands of possibilities to suit any playstyle.

Lost Light is available to download on the App Store and Google Play worldwide with a few exceptions. Unfortunately, it is yet to roll out in Belgium, Vietnam, South Korea and China.
