Hot on the heels of Honkai 3rd Impact concluding its main story for now, HoYoverse has announced the pre-registration opening for its latest Honkai universe, Honkai: Star Rail. Whilst we do not currently have an official release time, it is confirmed that the game will release on iOS, PC, and Android.

Honkai: Star Rail is an upcoming space fantasy RPG taking players on a journey through the grand unknown. The game will feature huge maps with maze exploration for you to get lost in, with puzzles to solve along the way. During this current beta, you can play through the beginnings of the story in the Herta Space Station and then explore two unique worlds.

Jarilo-VI is a world of frozen mystery, with secrets hidden beneath its snow caps for you to explore. Being planetside, this will give you a good sense of the size of the worlds you will visit. You can then set foot on the silkpunk flagship Xianzhou Luofu, whose inhabitants have uncovered the secrets of immortality.

To celebrate the pre-registration release, HoYoverse has graced us all with a trailer showing off its newest character, the fish-like Bailu. As expected by their looks, Bailu appears to harness the power of water using their ever-present gourd, and we can expect that she will have some support abilities, given that she is dubbed a Healer Lady.

The pre-registration rewards have also been revealed for each of the thresholds, to help eager spacefarers get a boost. You can net 50,000 Credits, the Trailblazer Welcome Avatar, a 4-star character named Serval, and then 15 Star Rail Passes for 5 Million signups, which seems to be a tall order. There is also a secondary campaign for reaching 2.5 Million followers on the social media account with 2 Star Rail Passes up for grabs, so if you sign up, make sure to give them a follow.
