Gamers in the East, and those in the West with exceptional ping, can celebrate, as Albion has launched its new server. Based in the Asia-Pacific religion, Albion East as it is called will offer Albion fans the chance to either have a better gaming experience, or a whole new world to explore.

Of course, the biggest talking point here is this new server will be giving those players further to the East a better gaming experience with vastly reduced ping. If you have ever tried to connect to a server halfway across the world, you will know how unplayable games can be, so this is a fantastic opportunity for those who need it.

Another benefit is the optimization of game and server events. Territory battles, Crystal League, Faction Warfare, maintenance, and all the rest will now occur in a civilized time, as opposed to what was probably 4 am on the Western servers.

One very interesting opportunity this launch throws up is the opportunity to fully start fresh in Albion. Given that the game has a fully player-led economy, Albion West has a fairly saturated market which is incredibly difficult for new players to break into. With Albion East being new, everyone has their opportunity to corner a piece of this clean slate themselves and get set up for virtual life.

Until April 30th, you can still throw a copious amount of money at Sandbox to become a Founder and get some unique rewards. Starting at $19.95 for Bronze, you will get some premium days, founder furniture, and some starting gold. This goes all the way up to an eye-watering $199.95 for Crystal, which gives you a year of premium time, a unique ring, some unique skins, and more, so if you want to be special, you’ll have to cough up a lot.

On March 25th, the server's first Guild Season will begin, so make sure to get onto Albion East as soon as possible by downloading the game from the App Store and Google Play.
