As you know Halloween is in full swing on Pokemon Go, and soon we will be launching into Part II of their event. Starting October 28th, there will be a raft of special Pokemon to collect, and a host of bonuses. 2X Candy on catching, more chance to grab Shiny Zorua, and a higher chance for Trainers over level 31 to get Candy XL and Nice and higher throws are just the start.

Pokemon Go might not have any haunted houses, but this newest Gigantamax release is the next best thing. You guessed it, Gigantamax Gengar will be available to tackle in Six-Star Max Battles. It is a small window, lasting from October 31st to November 3rd, and there is only a small chance to catch a shiny, so you will need to grind hard.

I think what we all want for Halloween this year is a team of costumed Pokemon to take trick-or-treating. Thankfully, if you strike out into the wild you can encounter a host of fancy-dressed Pokemon at an increased rate. This includes Vulpix, Piplup, Froakie, Pumkaboo, and Rowlet. Of course, the lucky few might encounter Pikachu in a witch hat. That mascot infests everywhere. All of these can be found shiny too.

Head to One-Star Raids and you might encounter dressed-up Pikachu, Froakie and Rowlett. Three-Stars might include Gengar and Drifblim in their Halloween attire. Finally, fancy-dress Vulpix, Pichu, Forakie, and Rowlet can be hatched from 7km Eggs. Again, these two can be shiny if you are lucky.

If you played the original Pokemon trio on the Gameboy you might remember the iconic Lavender Town music. It was a haunting melody for how simple it was, and excitingly a remix of it will be played every night during the Halloween event. Or, you can check it on YouTube.

Pokemon Go is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
