While this may be the second time I've invoked 'RC Pro-Am' in a single week, it's hard to escape the immediate comparison to this classic title and nocanwin's latest release Cubed Rally Racer. Players are put in control of a rally racer and will need to complete randomly generated sprints to unlock even more objects to be used in successive tracks.

Control is kept simple and your rally racer can be turned left or right with the use of two large buttons, with acceleration handled by a third button on the opposite side however these positions can be swapped via a menu option. Handling the rally racer can take some time to get used to as you deal with the game's isometric viewpoint and physics that allow you to slide around corners. Players will need to control their speed to survive, but if you're too slow you'll run out of fuel before crossing the finish line.

The simplistic 3D design works brilliantly for Cubed Rally Racer as it allows each unlocked track item to seamlessly mesh in to the environment. The variety is amazing and if a particular track is too frustrating, you can randomize it again for another chance at victory. You'll hardly be left wanting for content in this sprint-racer and with a ghost car system you'll even be able to race against your best lap-times to score higher points.

For such a small price, Cubed Rally Racer offers a lot of entertainment that continues to be surprising thanks to the randomized level designs. Definitely worth trying for any casual gamers collection.
