Collision Courses by TriggerFinger Entertainment is the kind of puzzle game you'd play absentmindedly in your spare time. At first I must say I wasn't terribly excited by the simple style of this title, but for those sick of titles that expect you to have a genius level of logic and reaction times, this is the title for you.

In each of the game's 40 currently available levels it's your task to make sure that every rocket on screen ends up colliding with each other. At first this isn't difficult at all, but as you progress it becomes harder and harder to line up rockets within the given time limit. However I should point out that the logic behind making these alignments never really changes, so it really just comes down to speedily arranging the rockets. Thankfully the controls are simple, requiring only a tap to rotate rockets and once you're ready another tap on the launch button will set the rockets on their way.

Collision Courses uses the all-too-familiar 'doodle' style for its graphics and it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so endlessly repetitive. With such a simple game it would have been great if a bit more flair in the visuals or audio accompanied a successful run.

Still, while Collision Courses may not be the most challenging of puzzle titles it's an easy one to pick up, play and finish, making it a great snack-sized title for those with too much spare time to waste.

Collision Courses may be simple in concept and execution, but it has no illusions of being anything more than a quick and fun way to blast through some spare time.
