iConnect Cubic is a match-up puzzle game where players must rotate a cube and select matching pairs of images to clear them. Players must clear the game cube as fast as possible in order to finish the level. However, players cannot just select any images, there must be a clear path between them in order to do so.

You spin the cube by sliding your finger on the screen to rotate it and tap on two matching images to try and clear them. Unfortunately for players, there are no in game instructions at all, so you’ll have to play a few practice games to understand what exactly is going on. But at certain times you will still be confused as to what’s going on. Such as when two items with no obstacles in between them do not register and clear from the game.

The visuals are simple and mainly consist of a number of small images for players to match up. The game sound consists of the single sound effect of glass breaking when you clear a matching pair but players are free to use their iPod during gameplay. The game is single player and features a local highscore board only.

.iConnect Cubic has potential but still needs work. As it is, the game is confusing and not all that enjoyable; also in part to the ‘YOU LOSE’ message even if you clear all the levels. Were there some kind of instructions and game grid to show you where and how you could match up pairs the game could be fun, but until then, you might want to try the lite version instead.

iConnect Cubic is a game with potential but a number of faults that put a damper on the gameplay; this game is not worth the current price.
