Sushi Go Round by SouthPeak is an adaption of the popular Miniclip flash title of the same name for the iPhone. This version is not unlike the previously redesigned adaption for the Nintendo DS and features much of the same art and layout, while retaining its extremely fast-paced management gameplay style.

The iPhone version feels like the best suited platform for this title as the tap controls are extremely easy to use and feel far more intuitive than moving to click or dragging items with a stylus. As the sushi chef you'll have to learn very specific recipes to match the orders of customers while managing the queue to ensure that those further down the line get their fill without it being grabbed by others. You'll also need to ensure you don't run out of ingredients, so be prepared make ordering rice and nori a matter of instant sense memory.

The visuals are also slightly clearer and cleaner than the DS version, however this also means the gaudy designs have also made the transition. Those who enjoy management games will be familiar with the 'super cute' style that comes with the territory. The basic mission mode is more of a trainer for the endless mode and teaches you the new recipes gradually without allowing you to replay levels in order to perfect them.

While Sushi Go Round feels better on the iPhone, there's few other concessions for the mobile device as basic social features. Not bad for management-game fans, but the free version is fine for everyone else.

Sushi Go Round for the iPhone is a decent adaption of the popular Flash title, but without more features all you're really paying for is the convenience of a game on the go.
