Chaos Rings 3 will come to iOS and Android in Japan this October

Fans of mobile JRPGs rejoice: the next instalment of Square Enix's Chaos Rings saga has a release date, announced platforms, and some new screens for you to see. The game is titled Chaos Rings III and will be available on iOS and Android (with a special edition going to PlayStation Vita called Chaos Rings 3 Prequel Trilogy). The mobile versions will likely be identical, though the Vita outing will come with some extra fluff and a prologue explaining the events of the series to-date. Date? October 16th in Japan. During an announcement of its Gamescom line-up, Square Enix dropped a massive bomb for fans of JRPGs - Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen will be released on mobiles and tablets in the West. It's a port of the Nintendo DS remake, and includes the additional and changed content from that version, such as the extra story chapter. We're also hearing that it features quick saves, and multiple combat speed options, which will be a blessing for adventurers on the go. Square Enix's zombie-styled collectible card game Deadman's Cross has just received an extra dose of undead. Thanks to a collaboration with Capcom, Resident Evil cards and quests are being added to the game for a limited time.
