The first pitch card game in the app store has been updated and now has a ton of new features!

Auction Pitch, also known as just "Pitch" or "Setback", is a fast paced card game of strategy and risk. While each game can be finished in just a few minutes, you may find hours have passed while playing this simple yet addictive card game!

The object is to win points in a series of hands played by 2 to 7 players. The player that accumulates a certain number of points first, wins!

Each hand is comprised of 6 "tricks", where each player plays one card from their hand. The highest card of the suit played by the first player, wins the "trick".

At the start of each hand, after everyone is dealt their cards, there is a round of betting. This is where a player declares how many points they can make for this hand. The highest bidder gets to play first.

Winning the bid is very important, as it lets you determine the "trump" suit, a special suit that beats all other suits in a "trick". The high, low and jack of that suit are 3 of the 4 points that can be collected for each hand. The other point is determined by the greatest total of high cards collected by each player.

If the player "makes the bid" by winning their bid or more, they get all the points they earned. If, however, they miss, their bid is deducted from their point total. Even if you don't win the bid, you can still earn points by stealing them from the high bidder!

Pitch involves strategy, ruthlessness and a little luck! It's a simple game to learn, but hard to master!

A lot of variations and improvements are planned for the next few releases, including a minimum bid of 2, partners, draw, additional point cards (jokers and the 5 in trump suit, for example), pass-n-play, usability improvements and many more.
