!!! NOTE: This app requires a device that has the compass hardware.

The Compass Data app gives you the ability to inspect and capture the iPhone compass data to facilitate learning, exploration, experimentation, and analysis.

The Compass Data app catures:
* Magnetic Heading - Heading toward magnetic north pole
* True Heading - Heading toward geographic north pole (factoring in declination)
* Heading Difference - Maximum heading error

The Info screen presents the data in real-time.

The Capture screen allows you to specify a capture rate (example 30 hertz), and the data will be captured at that rate, and stored in a file in the Flash file system. The app contains a built-in web server allowing you to download the data via wi-fi from your iPhone to a computer for further analysis. Multiple capture files can be created and managed. The data capture length is only limited by the free space on your iPhone.

The Library screen allows you to inspect and manage the data collection from multiple files.

Great for use for science fair projects and other motion and physics experimentation.
