Description

Honest Joe is a robot that plays one-on-one Texas Hold'em poker. The main idea of the game is that Joe has a programmed rule base that he uses to make his decisions and strategy and he never cheats. He is not doing anything that would be illegal in a regular poker game, he is just doing his best by using his artificial intelligence to figure out his own actions. Joe's decisions are based on his own cards, the open cards on table and your actions.

Joe varies his aggressiveness, sometimes he plays slow and sometimes he tries to bluff but it is all just honest poker. He constantly calculates his winning probabilities and this way knows how good his hand is but he doesn't know your cards so you might be able to fool him every once in a while. If you are any good at poker you should be better than Joe in the long run. After all, he is just a robot programmed to play the game according to pre-defined principles and logic. To help you to figure out his playing strategy Joe always reveals his cards at the end of a hand.

In addition to the bot, the application also supports Bluetooth connectivity. If your friend has an iOS device with this application installed you can connect your devices and play against each other.

The application has a statistics database that is registering game events during play. In the statistics menu the data is presented to you in various line and bar charts.
