Mate-O-Meter is an iPhone App that will improve your relationship with your mate!

Every relationship has its ups and downs, but with Mate-O-Meter you may be able to reduce the stress of the downs and increase the joy of the ups. Mate-O-Meter does so by 1) tracking the frequency, intensity, and duration of each up or down, and 2) by commenting in real-time and giving you analysis of your relationship.

Spouse yelling at you? Don’t make things worse by trying to argue your way out… Instead, launch the Mate-O-Meter, click the “being yelled at” button, and let the meter run until you think the storm has peaked. Then click again to see what Mate-O-Meter has to say. Hopefully, your stress level will fall, your mate will calm down, and the two of you will get along again.

Mate-O-Meter is useful on happier occasions as well. When your mate gives you a gift, compliments you, hugs you, etc, launch the Mate-O-Meter, read the commentary, and who knows what further good things might happen…
