Description

Hazrat Saad bin Abi Waqqas said that Rasulullah(SAWS) said to Hazrat Ali:You are to me like how Haroon was to Musa except that verily there will be no Nabi after me. (Bukhari, Muslim)
Hazrat Sahl bin Saad narrates that Rasulullah(SAWS) said on the day (of the battle) of Khaibar:I will give this Flag tomorrow to such a person that Allah will grant victory upon his hands, he loves Allah and His Rasul(SAWS) and Allah and His Rasul(SAWS) love him.
When the next morning came everyone spent the morning with Rasulullah(SAWS) hoping that he would be granted the Flag. Rasulullah(SAWS) : asked:
Where is Ali?
They replied: 0 Rasulullah(SAWS) he is complaifling of his eyes paining.
So they went to call him and when he came Rasulullah(SAWS) placed some of his Mubarak (blessed) saliva into Alis eyes and he was cured. So much so that it was as if his eyes had never been paining at all. Then Rasulullah(SAWS) : gave him the Flag (till the end of the Hadith). (Bukhari, Muslim)
Hazrat Imran bin Hussain narrates that Rasulullah(SAWS) said: Verily, Ali is from me and I am from him and he is the Wali {helper, assistant of every Mumin (believer).} (Tirmizi)
Zaid bin Arqam narrates that Rasulullah(SAWS) said: Whoevers Maula (helper, protector and assistant) I am, Ali is his Maula. (Ahmad, Tirmizi)
Hazrat Ibn Umar said: ;Nabi(SAWS) made a brotherhood between his Sahaba (each Muhaajir was made a brother of an A nsaar) . Hazrat Ali came to him with tears in his eyes and said: You have made brothers between your Sahaba and you did not make anyone my brother.
Rasulullah(SAWS) said:You are my brother in this world and in the Aakhirah. (Tirmizi)
Hazrat Zar bin Hubaysh said that Hazrat Ali said:1 take an oath by that being (Allah) who splits se1ed and who gives life to living things that the Nabi-al-Ummi(SAWS) gave me a pledge that no-one would love me but a Mumin, and no-one would hate me but a Munafiq (hypocrite). (Muslim)
