Description

Curl It! is a game on ice loosely adapted from the game of curling. The objective of the game is to launch stones from one end of an ice field to the other and try to hit the target area.

The game has two main playing modes; game play and trick tracks. Game play is a tournament style mode where regular curling rules apply and the winner is the team that gets its stones closest to the target center.

In trick track mode the points are awarded based on precision and accuracy on tracks filled with varying obstacles. The trick tracks can also be played as two player games but in addition you can try to reach high scores in a single player mode.

The game supports Bluetooth connectivity which makes it possible to play the two player games between two devices.

There are plenty of predefined trick tracks that provide various difficulty levels and in addition the game has a track editor for you to easily create your own custom levels. You can share your custom tracks and their high scores with your friend over a Bluetooth connection. High scores for all levels, predefined or custom made, are kept automatically.

Curl it! takes advantage of the iPhone´s unique features to mimic the motions of playing curling. The stones are launched by using the touch screen or by the help of the device accelerometer. You can control the curve of the stones and change the friction of the ice. Also, the ice sweeping with a broom is supported.
