Description

Organotron is a fully functional AR music instrument in a suitcase.

Download and print out the markers found at:

Point your iPad or iPhone at the main marker and enjoy playing the fantastic Organotron.
Place the second marker on the left hand side of the main marker to display a score.

The markers have to be placed flat on a surface, e.g. a table. Make sure they are well illuminated. Pointing your iPad`s or iPhone`s camera at the MainMarker, an antique suitcase appears in the same spot. Keep a distance of about a meter between the device and the marker.
To open the suitcase, touch one of its lock with two fingers or the two locks at the same time. The suitcase opens and the Organotron appears, ready to be played.
After placing the second marker besides it you can swipe through the pages of the score, which appears.

What's New in Version 1.1

Since we received a lot of feedback from people telling us they don't understand what the app is meant for, we noticed that we made a big mistake in not adding any help screen. So we added one in this version.

The app was part of an artistic animation project we made for the animation film festival Animac in Spain. Since we were always present for explanation and demonstration, we didn't notice the necessity of having such a help screen.

We also understand that printing out markers is not the best way to present new technologies, but working without markers in this case wasn't an option.

If you don't have a printer or want to save ink, instead of printing them out, you could also use a different screen, e.g. your laptop, to display the marker.

Another thing we'd like to point out is that the app was originally designed for and demoed on the iPad2. It perfectly runs on the iPhone4 and higher but the marker detection takes longer and the animations might be a little bit slower.
