In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, most Merciful, Praise be to Allah the Cherisher of the Worlds. The reward of the righteous is surely determined for the Life in the Hereafter. Peace be upon and greetings to Allah's Messenger (SAW).
The month of revelation of the Quran, the month of specific mercies and blessings of Allah, the month of patience, the month of increased sustenance, the month of goodwill to one another, the month of admission into Paradise and Release from Hell, the month for reflection and remembrance of Allah for the Muslims of the entire world, the month of praise and eulogy of Allah, of recitals and supererogatory good deeds and of charity -. a world-wide season of spring for all forms of warship, from which every Muslim in the world, according to his Faith and righteousness, acquires his share and finds his heart at peace and consolation.

Al1ah’s Messenger (SAW), while explaining the purpose of fasting stated: Fasting is a shield against sins. One who is fasting should not resort to obscene language and absurd acts. If any one uses abusive .language and is prepared to quarrel, the person who is fasting should say: I am fasting (Transmitted by Bukhari)
The month of Ramadan is worthy of excellence as its very purpose is to educate a person to refrain himself from committing sins. For this purpose the Evil Ones are chained so that a person who wants to safeguard himself from sins should not be hindered. The fact is that in this holy Month of mercy and blessedness, by little struggle and desire, every person tends towards performing good deeds and refrains from committing wicked ones. Therefore, whoever forgoes food during the day and spends a part of the night in the worship of Allah and becomes firm in his devotion to Allah controls his uncontrollable passions and purifies his desires; whoever suppresses his animal inclinations, increases his spiritual strength; whoever repents for his sins and adopts the path of virtue has accomplished the very purpose of fasting and acquired his hare of the reward from the bounties of this holy month.
