Description

Pai Gow Poker is a 7-card poker game that are delt to each players.
the objective is to build two poker hands and win them both against the dealer.

Poker hand #1 (lower hand) is built with 5 cards.
Poker hand #2 (upper hand) is built with the 2 remaining cards.

Jokers can be used as a wild card only to complete a Straight, Flush, Straight Flush and Royal Flush. Otherwise, the joker becomes an ACE.

To win against the dealer, the player must win on both hands. A 5% commission on your winnings is subtracted from the winning amount.

Having identical cards is considered a loss for the player, giving an advantage to the dealer.
The upper hand must not beat the lower hand, doing so will result in a loss.

TOURNAMENT MODE
Tournament play is a distinctive and original game mode consisting of 4 players competing against each other over 25 rounds.

Instead of using currency, a points system is introduced based on the lower hand. Players must win the upper or lower hand in order to win points. Winning on both hands doubles the points gained.

Payouts are :

One Pair (1pt) ; Two Pairs (2pts) ; Three of a kind (3pts) ; Straight (4pts) ; Flush (5pts) ; Full House (6) ; Four of a kind (7) ; Straight Flush (10) and Royal Flush (15).

The rules are the same as the classic mode, dealing 7 cards and building two poker hands with one major twist : The player having the weakest upper hand amongst others is automatically disqualified from the round.
