Want to report graffiti, litter illegal dumping or other quality of life issues while on the go? The new Union Square BID Assist makes reporting issues like these easier than ever. The app uses GPS to identify your location and gives you a menu of common quality-­‐of-­‐life conditions to select for reporting. The app also allows you to snap a photo to add to your service request. Reports generated in our boundaries (roughly Market Street to Bush Street and Kearny to Turk Street), 2nd Street to 5th Street) are automatically sent to the Union Square Business Improvement District’s Dispatch Center and routed to TAGG (Take Away Graffiti & Grime) Team, Ambassadors and/or SFPD Quality-­‐of-­‐Life bike patrol officer for resolution. You’ll also be able to follow your issue from the time it is reported until it is resolved. The mobile app can also be used to report such issues as overflowing trash cans, requests for sweeping, aggressive panhandling, campers, and trespassing.
