Please note, the Video button on the Main Menu page and also on this help page has a wonderful video tutorial that describes how to play the game, stepping through the game play so you can easily see and understand quickly.  We recommend you view the Tutorial Video first.

Game Play Rules:

The object of Sum Challenge is to place all the tiles from your tray onto the game board in such a way that each of the houses contains tiles that add to ten (10).  A House is a group of nine cells, outlined in red.  Houses are also either shaded gray or brown to help indicate them.  

To place a tile, touch the stack of tiles of the number you want to play.  This highlights that tile stack red and let's you know that value is active.  Touch the cell on the game board where you want to put a tile of that value.  

On the main screen, you can choose to begin a new Easy, Medium or Hard game by touching the appropriate button.  Also, from the main screen you can access the Help page and the Tutorial Video.

Touch the arrow button on the right hand side of the tray to pause the game and slide out the menu for in-game options.  Here you can create a new game, launch this help page, restart your current game, or touch the slider arrow again to return to your current game.
